Social Media and Technology Are Changing Organized Real Estate
Social Media and Technology are changing organized real estate. This can seem daunting for many but it doesn’t have to be. You can dip your feet into the water or you can dive right in. The important thing is to be consistent. The payoff doesn’t happen over night but there are rewards for those who persevere. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend and lead a session at the third annual REBarCampTO at The Evergreen Brickworks. The event was an opportunity for agents with an interest in social media to network, share, and learn from others on a variety of topics like Facebook advertising, Google analytics, Twitter and video blogging.
I believe it is important for us as an organization to stay on top of any advances in social media and technology. This year, TREB took a great leap forward with Mac compatibility and the use of tablets. Changes like this will continue to happen in our industry and that is one of the reasons why I am running for TREB Director at Large. Voting starts June 1st. It is important for you to have a voice.
